Snow!

Well, we got snow! I didn't think it would happen today, but it started snowing at midnight, and we have a nice dusting. I'm going to let Keith take the kids out in it. I'm not too big on the snow. I mean, I like it, but I'd be happy enough without it! :-)
Isabelle and I have been up since a little after 5am, so we've been enjoying the snow from the window. She thinks it's pretty neat, but isn't begging to go out in it or anything. I'm curious to see how she reacts to it when she gets out there. Last time it snowed she was still little and in the sling, so I don't know that her feet ever touched the ground. Pretty sure not. So, it'll be fun to see. I'll give the camera to Keith and let him take some pictures while I nap with Jack and make hot chocolate for everyone!! :-)

My New Year's resolution

Okay, no, I didn't actually make any official new year's resolutions, I'm just gonna say that starting a blog was it! So, here we go!
2009 has gotten off to a pretty decent, yet sickly start. Everyone is sick, except Tiernan, thank goodness. I was so afraid he'd end up getting whatever the rest of us had as soon as school was supposed to start, but so far, he's good to go. We'll all live though.
Right now our biggest challenge is bedtime for Isabelle. Trying to get her back into her own bed has proven rather difficult. She obviously wants nothing to do with it! lol! We have good nights, we have terrible nights, and then we have just ok nights. Right now I'm listening to her cry and cry and cry that she wants out of her room. Jack is also crying, no, screaming, so I need to take care of him first, then go put her back into her bed. What fun!
I'm just holding on to the hope that eventually she will go to sleep in her bed and stay there!
